FAIRFAX, VA – Kristin Hoffman, experienced technology professional, dedicated community volunteer, and military wife and mom, today announced her candidacy for Virginia’s 6th District in the State House of Delegates.
“I’m running because I believe we need more practical problem-solvers and fewer partisan politicians,” said Hoffman. “Virginia’s challenges don’t come with ‘R’ or ‘D’ labels attached, and neither should the solutions.”
Hoffman brings considerable professional experience to her campaign, including a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. After building a successful career in technology while raising two sons in Fairfax County, she understands firsthand the challenges facing Northern Virginia families.
Her campaign platform focuses on five key priorities:
“As a parent, I’m deeply concerned about what’s happening in our schools,” Hoffman stated. “Test scores are falling while controversial social policies are being implemented without proper parental input or consent. Parents are telling me they feel sidelined from important decisions about their children’s education and development. This must change.”
Hoffman also emphasized her commitment to addressing public safety concerns, particularly the devastating impact of the fentanyl crisis on young people in the community and ensuring that law enforcement officers receive the support and resources they need.
“Northern Virginia deserves a representative who stands firm on these principles while finding practical solutions to our community’s challenges,” said Hoffman. “Together, we can ensure Virginia’s best days are ahead!”
